Hi,
Can anybody tell me whether there is a way to create a rule (or the like) to forward a mail notification from Notes (8.5.2) to another email?
I am aware that I can forward either the entire mail or just the mail header to another email, however, what I want is just the notification, ie. 'you've got mail', sent to another email address.
My problem is that my work mobile is an iphone and it doesn't support push from our secure mail handler, thus I have to pull mail (press update) manually whenever I suspect I have mail. This is quite annoying!
My personal Gmail does does support push on the iphone, so I would like my Notes to send an automated notifiation, whenever a new mail from a specified address ticks in. Due to security reasons, however, none of the content from the received mail can be forwarded to my personal mail.
Is it possible to set up such a forwarding mechanism as I'm looking for, or am I doomed to pull mail manually for all eternity?
